U9 Softball

| Age | This program is for girls in grades 2 and 3 in the spring. |
| Season | U9 is run as a house league in Morden. U9 starts in the 2nd or third week of May and runs every Tuesday and Thursday for 1.5 hours. |
| Structure | The first half of practice is focused on skill development followed by a game. A mechanical pitching machine is used during the game to prepare kids to face live pitching in the U11 age division. Each child bats every inning, there are outs, but runs are not counted. |
| Things to Bring | Baseball glove, helmet, bat, hat, water bottle and shoes or cleats. |
| Things Provided | Bats, bases, balls, tees, first aid kits |
